Stall converter and trans cooler. Spend the rest on suspension mods or tires.

headers, lower control arms and subframe connectors!!

reason being!
headers add good RWHP and an engine is just a big vacuum pump and needs to breath

lower control arms, eliminate rear wheel hops, Helps seats the car on launch and prevents rearend damage

Subframe connecters everyones first mod should be these. f-body cars do not have a frame and yes can twist easy. SFC will keep the car tight and improve handling!

dont buy a ported TB, do it yourself and also do the bumpstop mod!!!!

everything I listed will give you a very nice difference in driving and compliment your nitrous kit!!

Rules to modding the right way.
Mod from the ground up!
buy parts that compliment eachother!

I have not done anything to the intake, I'm installing the nitrous on Sunday, with the TR6 plugs and purge kit.

if your doing nitrous. definitely make it so your engine can breathe first and foremost!!
Plus these engines respond well to bolt-ons!!

ls6 intake (find a used one, to save some $$$$) gain about 14rwhp

Headers (depending on where you live get ceramic coated so they dont rust) gain about 17rwhp

LID gain about 9rwhp

the gain numbers are not exact they are different for every car and dyno machine!

Freebie/cheap mods!
in regards to your intake if you have a dremel too you can port and polish your TB yourself and save more $$$. Also the bellow that connects between your MAF and TB it looks like an accordion, replace that with a Fernco pipe from a hardware store. They cost about $3. Also research the bumpstop mod for your tb, another helpfull mod!

Intake and stall. then i would go with headers later when you got more money saved. Or headers and stall.

im sorry, but if you dont know what advatages a ported throttle body will give you, you probably arent ready to handle nitrous, , its no game. Not trying to be a dick, just dont like to see people kill themselves. Just take a while and learn how your car works, read the forums.

Well, considering I've been ridding bikes with nitrous for 6-7 years and can build one with my eyes closed, I think I'll be okay... yes, it's a different game, but because I don't know a few aspects of a car doesn't mean I won't be smart about it...
