Default Best $1,000 ??????

So I have a question... obviously by the question marks at the top....

Anyways,

I have a 2000 WS6 A4 and want to know what should I get with 1,000 bucks. I basically a complete stock vehicle expcept for a magnafo exhaust and a NX Wet Shot Nitrous System I just purchased from NitrousOutlet. I'm not too picky wether it's susupension or performance modifications, just would like some input from people who've done this.

Thank you in advance!

Ported TB increases intake airflow. I say get a stall since you are an auto.. Stall and a tune.

Also it would be a really good idea to read the mod guide sticky at the top of the page.

There are so many suspension compondents, k-arms, lower control arms, sprigs, shocks, sub-frame connectors.. what's the best to start with?

I think you need to make your own plan, based on your own research, then start implementing it. Otherwise, you're going to waste $1,000 here and $1,000 there based on other people's spur-of-the-moment suggestions, never really making any definitive progress towards YOUR goal.

Lid (if you dont have it), Headers, Stall, in that order, all will benefit power wise, or some BMR suspension like TQ arm, REAR LCA's and Pan Hard rod.

+1 for a stall and pick up some pacesetter coated headers. Id then say save up for some lower control arms, adj panhard rod, weld in subframes, and maybe a torque arm. Most of the suspension stuff can be bought at UMI performance, which is a sponsor on this site.

if i could do it all over again, id do 1st, stall, subframe connectors and headers/catback. the stall you can get a good once for 500 bucks, subframes will cost about 150-250 and headers/catback can range from 400-1000+ (i got my mac mids and hooker catback for 400 bucks through the for sale foums)

good luck!

depending on the mileage of the car, shocks might be a really good idea as well...
