Default headers and WS6 exhaust

Here is my idea, I am planning headers and a catted Y in the near future and I already have a cutout in my stock WS6 exhaust. My question is, has anyone heard the stock exhaust with headers and a Y. How is it because I won't always run my cutout open, probably most of the time though. I know it has been done and this is just a though, also before you say, I tried a search and didn't come up with much. Thanks.

Jared

Here's my car with OEM Single Outlet 1998 WS6/SS exhaust, SLP headers, and CATed Y Pipe. I remove that raspy sounding GMMG in favor of the quieter OEM (NO RASP!). The sound is much more enjoyable to drive everyday and still sounds good and powerful.

Hmmm, so it still sounds good w/ the stock exhaust? That is all I'm worried about, it sounding bad with the cutout closed.

i have pacesetter longtubes, tsp catted y-pipe and a dmh e-cutout on my stock exaust and it is very quiet, just like stock. i have a cam and it very docile, only the trained ear could hear the lope. Heres a crappy video of the initial startup with the cutout open, then shut, then open cutout rev. The video doesn't do justice, believe me its very quiet through stock exaust.

Yea, the dual outlet WS6/SS exhaust is quieter than my current single outlet version. I've tried both.
