Flowmaster sucks
I know I always bitch and moan about how crappy my tsp rumbler sounded on my car,I just got back from the exhaust shop because me and a friend traded catbacks,I gave him my rumbler and I got his flowmaster since im getting lts installed this weekend and I figured the rumbler would be too loud,I like the sound better but I can already tell a loss in power the car doesnt seem to have the top end pull like it used to,after I save some more money up im going with something else

the only time i would go with a flowmaster is on duals. not only are they quiet as hell, but like you said. there is an instant notice in power loss.

Put a cutout in the I-pipe with a bullet in front of it. You'll have pretty good sound and great flow with it open. Quiet and refined with that nice Flowmaster sound with it closed.

I knew I was going to do duals later so I just bought a cutout in the mean time. It was a night and day difference, sounded really good and you could feel a drastic difference in power. Go ahead and get a cutout, but I wouldnt waste my time with a QTP.

just get a cutout sand leave the flow alone.when you do the headers you will get that power back you think you lost.i have a 40 series with lts ory and it sounds really good.and very loud with the cutout open
