Default First track times

So I just went to the 1/4 mile dragstrip last night and was only able to get in one pass cuz of all the big drag cars down there taking up all the damn track time but with a shitty start(just got unfocused and wasn't ready for some reason ) I ran a 13.6 @ 100mph and had a 2.0 60ft. I know I can knock off a couple tenths cuz I didn't torque it up at all just hit the gas, and just wasn't ready when the lights wents down lol. I'm planning on going back next week so see if anything changes but I guess we'll see. Thats basically about right for my car though...stock 02 ws6 auto. I really think I can pull out a 13.2 or so out of my car though.

Need to check your car first. I don't know the elevation or the DA' but you should be trapping more than that for '02 WS6 model.

I would be happy if I were you...your first EVER trip down and you pull a 13.6 which isn't bad. I say stall it up and launch a little better (2.0 isn't that bad either) and 13.3 is calling your name.

13.4 when my car was stock with an auto. That was in the dog days of August too. I'm sure I could have pulled a 13.3 or 13.2 stock.

Yes my car is auto noxiouSS.
Yeah I thought I should be getting a little bit better time than that bene but like I said it was kind of a crappy run for me. It was actually a really nice night...about 55 degrees and clear. And the elevation is about 300 ft above sea level. This is why I'm going back next week cuz I've been to the track when I had my LT1 and I could tell that I didn't do my best this time at the track. But hopefully I'll be able to show you guys a better time next week.

I would be happy, I also went for the first time this Thursday and ran a 14.5. But I have 19s and about a 75lb. sub box in the back (I wish I had taken it out). I wasnt happy at all, but next time im goin to take the box out and put the stock wheels back on and see what it runs. only mod is a bbk 85mm tb.
BTW, i also have an auto. 13.6 is pretty good for a stock with no bolt ons.

That's why I went with an auto. I love driving a manual like no other but at the track the auto's are just more consistent.

When my car was stock it would run 13.6 every time.
I got a lid, shift kit, deleted TM and it would run 13.2 at 106 every time.
