Default QTP lt's and Kooks Y?

Just wondering if that combo would work. I was planning on the Hooker Y in stainless unless the Kooks one will work. I like how it looks even better. Thanks for any input.

Don't like it and it's aluminized. I thought I saw where someone installed Kooks with cats on QTP's. I want all stainless since I spent the jack on stainless lt's.

I just saw where Chocotaco says the Kooks will fit with minor mods, but I believe the Hooker will slide right up. Hmmmm......

i modified my kooks y-pipe to work with qtp headers

https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-external-engine/682400-qtp-headers-kooks-y-pipe-spohn-solid-motor-mounts.html

since that thread i tweaked the drivers side a bit for more ground clearance

Dang, I was hoping for something much easier. QTP advertises "their" y fits Hooker, Pacesetter, and one other one, so I would assume the Hooker Y would be more of a slip fit affair. I hope.

it's not that hard. a few cuts, welds, and get the ends of the y-pipe that slip over the collectors expanded.
