Default pacesetter race header fitment

Just a quick question I have about the race headers is how do they fit. Are there any modifications I will have to do?

They fit great! I have installed a few sets of them without any issues during, or after the install. Good luck!

Mine fit great. Not a single issue with clearance or anything else. Great headers for the money without a doubt.

Put two sets in and once you cut the casting flash off the drivers side it is absolute butter.

They fit like a glove. No modification needed.

mine fit great didn't need to modify anything. Though I would highly recommend getting some poly motor mounts at the same time. they are so easy to change with the exhaust off and will reduce the chances of the Y pipe banging the floor.

I don't mind the vibration just wondering if it would or not.

My headers went in beautifully, however not so pretty when it came to installing the oxygen sensors. i am still waiting for my replacement header from Pacesetter for the passenger side.
Mine fit so close to the transpan that i could not get the sensor in the header,so i pulled the header back off and put the sensor in before putting the header back on.
No i have a smashed sensor harness.
I talked to Pacesetter and as far as i know the issue is being worked on for my car(Making me a new header with a diff sensor location)

Only seems to be a issue with the automatics.

I had to grind away a little piece off of the block on the drivers side...I would have been able to wiggle it in if I would have removed the spark plugs but I just ground that piece away. The passenger side went in like butter. These are easy man.

My race style pacesetters fit great I put the drivers side in without the spark plugs in and it went right in. No need to cut off the tab.

I didn't have to grind the tab on the block or beat the hell out of anything. I just put a block of wood on a jack and put it under the oil pan and jacked it up just to give me an extra smidgen of clearance to get the drivers side header in. I had all the plugs except 3 and 5 in the whole time.

I did the same except left all plugs in. They fit great. No problems yet but it's only been about 3000 miles.

They fit great and are wonderful.

I however did have to jack up the engine to slide the driver side in. Takes 5 minutes.

yeah I had to jack the hell out of my passenger side to install the pacesetter LT's on my LT1 so I was kinda expecting to do the same thing with these. It was a b**** but man did it run great afterwards. I can't wait to see how it runs with the new race style on the LS1!
