Question about this setup.......step inside... I am currently running FLP headers to ORP's then to the Loudmouth...its REALLY loud...and now that I got a new stall which doesn't start to move the car until almost 3000 I feel its going to get on my nerves a lot...I have a cam and the car breathes really well right now and I'm getting it custom programmed...my question is if I decide to put an SLP dual-dual on it with a cut-out welded at some point along the intermediate pipe will it hurt my performace running through the dual-dual, vs running my current setup?

Re: Question about this setup.......step inside... Dual/Dual flows pretty damn good. I think Trevor D on here has been posting that he looses 0 trap speed running a cut out to dual/dual.

Re: Question about this setup.......step inside... A friend of my has an '02 Z28 with that same setup. He loves it and has decided not to get an aftermarket catback... (since I gave him the dual dual off my SS <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> ) It sounds really good with the cutout closed and is really stealthy.

I might also consider getting the dual-dual and putting the cutout on the car with the powerplate...decesions, decesions, decesions..I shouldn't of sold my stock exhaust, which was the dual-dual... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

Re: Question about this setup.......step inside... I have the FLP headers and SLP dual's with a cut-out and have track tested it only one time. But compare with the other times, the mile per hour went up 1/2 as compared to others. Yes, I believe it will help you at the track especially with a head/cam combo. Kent
