Exhaust with stock sound

Exhaust with stock sound ok, Now I am in the market for Headers, and CatBack exhaust, Anyone recomend a (preferably the entire kit, from headers, on to the back of the car) kit that retains the STOCK sound.... I just think the Stock is perfect sound, and dont want to go too loud <img src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" border="0"> also would really prefer to keep the stock tips as well, I just think they look better than round tips... any help appreciated. <img src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" />

Re: Exhaust with stock sound well, I think I've decided on the "Mac" Headers and cat combo from MTI, but now for the Cats back?.... anyone know a muffler that is not so loud?... <img src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" />
Re: Exhaust with stock sound i personally would not get the cats on the macs. people have flowed them and the stock ones flow better. as for the exhaust just get a cut out cheap easy and u can cap it up if u get tired of the sound or uncap it if u wanna hear it

Re: Exhaust with stock sound Go with either the FLP's or Hooker LT's. As for keeping the stock exhaust sound, well that will be kind of hard. Your best bet would be to go with the SLP dual/dual(a.k.a. the quietest LS1 cat-back available). You could probably use the stock tips with that system and it should give you the sound your looking for. Also, make sure to use highflow cats instead of off-road pipes which will help quiet up the car.

Re: Exhaust with stock sound to keep the car quiet you'll need either the SLP dual/dual or the muffler from the SS/WS6. You'll probably either want to run cats or bullets in the Y-Pipe.
My suggestion is to buy the SLP headers system and the Dual/dual. You'll be able to swap in cats if the ORP is too loud.
