Do I have anything to be ........
Im about to install the ASP underdrive pulley on my car. All I hear people talking about is that they gained KR from it? Is this always the case? if so how do i fix it? Also does anyone know a good install page?
P.S. I bought the pulley from someone else and I just noticed there is a small spot on the aluminum part of the pulley where it has been drilled. Could it have been the person who had it before me realized it wasnt completely balanced? Also what are they three screw holes for on the pulley? I dont see where they are used in the installation?

The three holes on the front of the pully are for removing the pulley at a later date. They balance the pulley's by drilling on the back side of the pulley hub.
I have never had a issue with my ASP pulley. The only thing that is a pain in the butt is finding a puller that will fit on the inside of the factory pulley. Other than that, it's a piece of cake. <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[Burnout]" />

Re: Do I have anything to be ........
I went to a local rent shop and broused through all the different pullers they had and found one that worked perfect - a big one. I also had gone to a bolt store and bought the same size bolt, which cam without the built in washer. I was able to put this bolt into the crank and use it to help attach the puller - the pulley was able to slide right out without that washer on there.
I got more KR from my ported MAF than my ASp pulley. There are several options to rid yourself of KR. Make sure it's not KR first by installing some race fuel and rechecking - if it's still ther then it is probably false knock.
1)custom tuning - $500
2)LS1 edit - depends on amount of people
3)Tony's "Nineball's" Knock desensitizer - $35
I say Tony's KD is only $35 because I actually have a brand new one for sale that has never been used. I would take $30 I ship.
I didn't post to try and sell something - but since I have one lying around I thought it might help you out.
Good Luck,
Eric

DriveaTransam and I installed an ASP crank pulley on his car earlier today.
I have all the GM tools, the puller, the tool that bolts up in the place of your starter.
I have a stock crank bolt that i cut the sides off of. This way I can first remove the stock crank bolt, and then put this shoulderless one on. Why? This way the pulley will not hit the bolt.
For an A4, you need a way to hold the flexplate from turning. M6 I would put it in 5th.
DriveaTransam seems pretty happy. <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">
