Firebird V6 muffler ? SORRY
My girlfriend wants a good sounding muffler for her 1992 f-bird V6. Can anyone tell me a good sounding muffler for this car, I think it's a 3.4. I know this isn't the proper forum for this question but I thought you guys would understand. TIA and again, SORRY.

Won't find one. V6's with exhaust sound like lawnmowers on crack at high rpm's. Raspy and farty sounding. Just my opinion tho

Re: Firebird V6 muffler ? SORRY
It's very hard to make a V6 sound good.
Putting a muffler on the car will give it a nice deeper sound at idle and low RPM cruise but at higher RPM's it will just sound worse.
Dynomax makes a pretty decent soundin catback for a decent cost. It's rather loud though.
To really get a decent sound from a V6 you need to do headers.

As LS1derful said flowmaster seems to make v6's sound pretty darn good. I have a mp3 of my cousins 1992 V6 camaro, but i have no where to host it.

I have the stock exhaust from my WS6 on my firebird and it sounds good. Now it wotn wake the neighbors or anythign like that but it was an improvement over the stock exhaust. Flowmaster sounds good on v6s, better than the WS6 exhaust. My gf has it on her v6 firebird and it sounds good.
BTW I sent you a private message

I had one on my 97. It sounded ok, but still like a V6 at anything above 1800rpm.
