LM1 and cats, or GMMG?

Right now I have Hooker LT headers, a 3" ORY, and a LM1. It's extremely loud, but it's too raspy for me. I'd like something a little bit softer and not as raspy.

I've had my mind set of replacing the ORY & LM with a catted y pipe and a GMMG catback (because it's the sexiest sound to me). But now I see it's going to cost me what the y pipe costs, the $700 for GMMG, and then labor. How much sound difference would there be if I kept my LM1 and replaced the ORY with a catted y pipe? Would it sound similar to a GMMG?

I recently bought some Corsa Clone tips that I'd like to throw on the back of either exhaust.

GMMG is a great but just way to expensive for catback...you can get LT's for the price of that

its very much worth the money you pay however, the construction is top notch and it sounds beautiful.

if you want something different, add a pair of chambered mufflers into the loudmouth setup (one for each rear pipe) and call it good, eadperformance sells the classic chambered chambers for like $60 a pop.

cheap and easy to do.
cuts down the rasp a lot

Or you could get a borla or a corsa catback for the same price, maybe even more. IMO the GMMG sounds better than both. But you are right it is great, once i get enough cash saved up thats what im gettin
