help i want "go to jail loud" im gonna replace my cats with dynoflow bullet mufflers, what muffler should i use in place of my factory one to give me a deep loud rumble at idle and the rest of th power band:corsa, dynoflo ultra flows, 40 serries or single chamber flows, or slp resonaters which one will be deep and "go to jail loud" thanks for any help
Re: help i want "go to jail loud" just remove the muffler from the stock system, and weld up a pipe in it's place with a y if you still want dual tips. then it'd be kind of like the loudmouth from SLP. as for the loudest possible exhaust....i think it would be...
long tube headers with dual 3" tubing back to right before the axle and then dumps. no mufflers. other than that, open headers. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: help i want "go to jail loud" my wide open borla was loud enough for my girl to hear me inside her house coming down the street at idle and it would only get louder with longtubes and no cats.

FLP LT headers going through ORP's to an SLP Loudmouth...its basically like running a cutout all the time...I plan on changing back to a regular dual-dual soon... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: help i want "go to jail loud" I ran a $4 AutoZone turn-down yesterday in place of my SLP 2OTL muffler. Talk about go-to-jail loud!
But the guys at the track said it sounded f-'in awesome at WOT. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> But I was definitely worried about the 'go to jail' factor as I was easin' her down the road going home. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> Talk about short-shifting at <2K rpm... Love that 6th at 40mph...

Re: help i want "go to jail loud" headers with orp and borla is loud as hell! I can hear BADZ get on the highway from my house which isn't exactly close to the highway, gotta love that. I've got GMMG but not headers yet, I can't wait to hear what that sounds like.

Re: help i want "go to jail loud" try open y pipe, no exhaust, I've done it for months, that is loud <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> , but this week I'm going w/ a dual/dual and a cutout incase i want to get loud again, LOUD gets real old in a hurry, everything rattles and you cant even here the radio or talk on the phone..

Re: help i want "go to jail loud" I have Mac's, true 3" h-pipe no cats, over the axle with bullets at the back. It is loud enough, and I think its the best sounding exhaust i've heard on an LS1 yet. I got pulled over tons of times with my Mac's orp and Borla with a 7/8" plate, so I'm just waiting for it this summer <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Re: help i want "go to jail loud" PSJ you get some looks hu, I know that when I drive my car that people pull up to me all the time and ask what I have. I just laugh and say it is all stock, dam thing is loud as hell when you get on it, I have yet to hear any louder exhaust.
