Stock Catback Quick Question.

I have a cutout in the I-pipe, I dont like the sound so Im taking the stock catback off, and getting a new one.

So my question is do I have to actually Cut-out the stock catback above the axel with a saw or something. Becuase it sure as hell doesnt look like its gonna slide out??

Any help will be apprecaited

you will have to cut it where it goes over the axel.
if you want to get rid of the cut out just go to a exhaust shop and have them cut it off and put a new piece of pipe.
it will save you some cash.

your right,its probly not gonna slide out. are you talking about removing the cutout along with the whole catback?

yes, directly off the stock y-pipe, so technically I would be running just an open stock y.
Im just gonna put a dumped bullet off the Y.

oh ok, so all you have to do is take a sawzal and cut your i pipe before the cutout then
