I bought a black Fernco coupler from Home Depot and put it on in less than 5 minutes. I put it in the microwave for 15 seconds (twice in a row) and it slipped over the factory throttle body and MAF almost too easily with a perfect fit! This mod makes the engine compartment look alot better!

Yea, just hope your lid doesn't crack because the Fernco can't flex like the stock bellows...Joe.

One other note on the FERNCO
After some time with heating up, and cooling down that peice becomes more and more pliable.
I watched one real close on the dyno once. The vacuum would actually SUCK IN the couple some...enough that it was easily noticable, and at least to me, looked like it was enough that it would become the narrowest point in the intake system.

Get rid of it. I have broke the left 2 tabs on my clear lid because of it. When the engine torques to one side, it dont flex. Everytime I get on it, my air lid pops half off. I hate it.

I dont know if this will help, But i installed the Fernco # PXJ3 coupler. It has a kink in the center to flex somewhat. I dont know whether the heat will ruin it, I did notice that the ends of it molded to the TB without the TB bypass done(heat from Tb caused it to shapoe to the TB and clamp.)
Ill keep an eye on it, i can always revert back to stock.
Have you guys ever heard of the 25.00 Bakers precision hose MOD instead of a Fernco???
