As for the induction, I'd tell her to get a lid and filter instead of Suncoast's kit. I had their Raptor hood on my T/A, and I bought their induction as well. You see this HUGE filter element and think that it's getting great flow. Just check out how the air has to get through the airbox. It has to go through a SMALL area after making a 90-degree turn. I sold mine and got a lid and filter, along with a WS-6 lower airbox. It worked well, and I would remove the baffles while at the track for TRUE ram air.
A 2800 Vigilante would work well in her car. It's a very tame converter, yet it will show a nice gain at the track. I shaved off exactly .5 in the 1/4 with a Vig 2800 in my '98 T/A. Just be sure that she installs a trans cooler with it at the same time. Heat kills transmissions.
