Default Throtte body for 96mm Typhoon

I just got a 96mm Typhoon and have only seen one throttle body that looks like it would work. Other than the holly or a factory ls2 throttle body what are my choices? If none any comments on the holly?

I would think Professional Products would make a 96 mm TB.

You need to post dyno numbers with that SOB asap, in comparison to your stock intake. You'd be a very popular man around here if you did that.

pp makes 1 but it wont be out till june or july. But i talked to them and they said that u can use a factory gto 1 or a after market gto tb but it has to have the 4 bolt pattern, not 3 bolt pattern, that is on the ls1s.

It came from a store on ebay. All the gaskets, fittings, fuel rails, etc.. to do the job is there I just dont feel like waiting till june or july for the pp 96mm throttle body to put it on. The Holley one is a four-bolt 90mm. Not sure what factory gto's are or the price comparison between the two. Also if i was to get the Holley now i dont think there would be a considerable difference between 90 and 96mm. I may be wrong though. what do you think? buy one now or wait?

Can u give me the link to the web site.
If i get one im going to get the gto 1 temparly then in june or july get the pp 96mm. It shouldnt make much difference but i would just want it to be the same size as the tb.

Ya thats probably what i should do but i'm just tired of waiting. I tried to find it but its not on there anymore. My buddy actually bought it and before he even got a chance to put it on he ran into some tranny problems and needed some cash so i got it off him. He paid $450. It's the polished 96mm with fuel rails and everything else needed. I'd just keep an eye on ebay. Any idea on the price of a factory LS2 throttle body?

Brand new like high 300 low 400. I also priced them for the tb for the intake manifold. I got it priced at 2 different places and that is the round about price for them, im not shure on the exact price. But the pp tb is suppost to be around 200.

Question i heard that there was a problem with the 96mm intake fitting properly so did u install yours yet thanks.

No i have not yet and i havn't heard that. I've done some searches on it and the people that have it on seem to love it and havn't mentioned any problems with fitment. That is around what the Holley one costs so i'll probably go with it. If I have any problems with fitment ill be sure to post it.

A 90mm will be more than enough. BTW most of the 90 mm tb's will fit. What is your setup (heads, cam, blah, blah??)
