Default LS1 carburetted

Anyone out there know of anyone who has done a manifold with a Holley 850 or 1050 Dominator on an LS1?? I'm looking at doing it here in Australia.
Any feedback?

I have two friends who have carbed LS1 engines, but they are pure street racers and won't even tell me about their motors beyond that...

The only way to go would be a Sheetmetal manifold. Edelbrock has not figured this one out yet. I think a carb LS1 would be awesome! The problem with a sheet metal manifold is that you need to make sure that the size and lenght of the runners is exactly what you need. If your thinking of making one or getting one done drop me an e-mail.

BTW NICE CAR!

Thanks. We are still in the build of this drag race car. haven't sorted out the intake yet...
Big 262@050 solid roller. Stock cubes, alloy rods.
Anyone out there built a BIG engine? Like Lunati 4.25" crank on a 4.125" bore, = 454 ci???

Anyone heard of another manifold, sheetmetal that is, for a carbed LS1?? If someone has one, I'm in!! Thought a carbed (1050cfm Dominator) would cure the intake blues for the big cubed LS1's on this site.
Thanks guys, let me know what you know.....!

With the money you will spend on the carb and intake you could have gotten DFI and some big injectors...

If you want to look into a open plenum style race intakes that will accept a bigger throttle body, try our sponsor www.LS1Speed.com, they have some R&D going and that is all I can say.

John Meaney has got the fuel injection and turbos down he is one of the pioneers of the electronic fuel injected drag race engines. If Speed Inc. has teamed up with John in some R and D it will be an awsome combination. One car John has done for example is a full tube chassis daytona 300 cubic inches fuel injected twin turbo. the car wheights 2400#'s and runs 6.90's and they don't even have to change the plugs. He is the one behind Morans quad turbo 632cu.in. fbody that they claim will be the first door slammer in the 5's we will see.

I made this in my spare time. (makes 40rwhp on a stocker)

It can also take carb's. I'm not into selling stuff like this, its just a hobby. Shoot me an email. I live in Sydney Also. I can give you all the info on how to build your own.
