Default Loudmouth with Cats and Hooker Headers Too Loud???

I need to make a decision on this cause I'm getting the headers soon to match all the mod's in my sig. The car is a daily driver so I don't need to be getting pulled over everyday.

Nope.

It was actually quieter than with stock manifolds and no cats <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> Not much mind you <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I have SLP Lts with the loud mouth and I dont think my set up is too loud, or loud for that matter. The drone/resonance from the LM died down because of the headers and made my car a lot more enjoyable.

Riding with the windows open and tops off is a pleasant experience. At 4000RPMs the car really comes alives and starts to scream and sounds like nothing else.

I have never actually heard my car from the outside but people tell me it sounds awsome!! Everytime I ask them if its too quiet they tell me that it is anything but quiet. From the inside of the car its relatively quiet, at least IMO.

DITTO! I get people that yell out the window (wouldn't here them otherwise) that she has a great sound. Rumble at idle to "get out of hell" loud at WOT with few backfires! You will love it and I highly recommend the RT cats I did have to go with the 2.5 in. cat-forward because of my vert's lowered stance. I think the 3" would be better for N20 runs (let me lean her out a bit more with the MAFT) but love the current set-up running NA 99% of the time and loving it.
Good Luck with the set-up. Just have your muffler shop design the header collector to LM collector with aluminized standard pipe custom( Mandrel is not necessary), and all other connections welded (except LM collector) w/ header connection flanges for about 100 bucks installed ( the key is this design is more than just a cat-back/y-Pipe improvement). Kinda long but hopefully someone will like the detail....Ba Bye.
