Default Calling all guys with a Pro-Torque Converter!!

Well my pro-torque 2900 stall is on its way to new york to be inspected by Joe with pro-torque seeing that is has now by messed up 3 times now!! the last two times it has thrown a bearing and the last time the converter lasted one day in my car before it totally shut down!!!! so Joe told me that he will inspect it and possibly upgrade me to their 10" converter!! anybody have one?? he said it would flash around 3300 or so.... but with the one i did have it would hold around 3100 on the slicks.... i am about to put heads/cam in the car and along with the NOS i am just wondering if this is a big enough stall.... What are your experiences with pro-torque?? Thanks

tell you what...tell them to buy that POS from you for all your trouble...then call Tom Izzo at Speed Inc. and pick up a Vigilante 3200 stall. Perfect for your bolt-on ride, H/C car, or all out stroker.

I'm totally with Ryan on this one. I told ya to get rid of it before you put it in the third time! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" /> It sounds like a complete POS. I would get my money back and go with something proven.
Moving to the drivetrain forum!
