HP from MAFT....????
Just wondering if there is any horsepower that can be squeezed out of a motor with MAFT, if its not running rich or lean? I dont think mine is running to bad I think its at 12.5.. Need to get 10 more hp to the ground to reach my goal.. I have
2000 SS
lid, FTRA, Pace MAF,
Bassani ORP, Dual/dual
Crank Pulley
Pulled 340/340 last night need to more without going to headers, cam,or heads. Small bolt ons only. Any suggestions?

Just a note to let you know that I just went through an ATap/MAFT tuning (6 different Base and WOT settings), and ended up at 0 Base and 2% lean WOT (optimum -1.17 LTFT's and .910 WOT O2's, 0 KR, TM 25.5)and really made a difference on the pull of the car. Stronger and longer pulls through the gears. It felt great before and actually did the tuning to safeguard against N20 runs (I have a GMAF). I actually was pretty close and little rich...go figure. It still is nice to know I can run out my NA runs stronger. BTW, I am tooooo lean on the juice with the leaner MAFT setting which makes sense (max MAF rate @ 40 lbs/min!. So now I have one other step in the NOS "get ready" procedure, oh well, some day I'll graduate to the "All Motor" club. Anyway, I highly recommend this mod because if I can feel it in my pants I know I gained at least 10 rwhp (NA) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
