Double check proper fit of the filter and housing box. Mine did that every so often, until I adjusted the placement of those ( after about 10 times)

take the lid off, and grind some of the botton off the lid, this will make it fit better

I had the same problem and it was because I didn't have the lid pushed back toward the engine far enough.

my sister's WS6 does that, but mine doesn't, but is bowed with the sides bending up and still makes a complete seal lol... i just think it's b/c the lid is such thin plastic and can't hold shape against under hood temps... the lids should have been made a little more thicker... i guess that's why there are cheaper...

MIne did that, but somehow I messed around with it and now its clamped down tight. I think the lid is pushed back maybe 1/32 of an inch, and sits flush against the lower airbox in the front. If that's too confusing I can get a pic.

tuck the front of the lid in behind the lower airbox.

+1 Yup the front of my lid kinda tucks into the bottom of the airbox, never had a tab fly off and the seal is tight!
