Different Header question!
Different Header question! Ok, I've been contemplating mods. I have a NOS 100 dry shot, but I'm running too lean to spray, I've heard that headers will richen the motor out to an extent. So, my question is this, how much will which headers richen the motor out, or will shorties/midlength, and longtubes all do the same as far as that goes?

Re: Different Header question! I'm not sure I would use headers to richen out a car. True they do help but to many variables to count on. Look into getting a MAFT & a set of headers. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Re: Different Header question! You definitely need to get the car fattened up without headers. I would suggest going with larger injectors and a MAFT if you're going to stay with a dry kit.

Re: Different Header question! Thanks everyone. Injectors shouldn't be a problem, they aren't near 100% yet, and it's a '98. I was planning on the MAFT and then headers later, I was just making sure that I wouldn't be just as good just using the MAFT money on headers.
