Hooker Headers Arrived! Y-Pipe anyone? Headers just arrived from Jet Hot. I have a backorder position with Summit for the y-pipe.
Anyone see the Y ship yet? Anyone with info? I have a query into Hooker customer service on availability.
Of course I'm anxious. I turned new lifetime bests last weekend with the new ProThruster converter and now it's time to do even more.

Re: Hooker Headers Arrived! Y-Pipe anyone? i was one of the ones that posted that. i had a friend call up hooker and ask a few weeks ago. i just got mine today too(coated) and they look sweet. I'm making my own y-pipe. I give up trying to find something for a decent price.

Pat, if you get a chance take a cloth sewing tape and measure each primary pipe length from the header flange to the start of the collector...we've started a data base on long tube header pipe lengths...need it by cylinder...ie #2 = 32", #4 = 28", etc. Thanks.

"We are evidently having some problems in our manufacturing plant with that peice. It got delayed again and currently i do not have an estimated ship time."
Could be time for plan B.
Maybe Hooker wasn't such a good idea...
Onfire...I've been exceptionally busy at work. I will get to the measurements, but it will likely be the weekend. Hope that is OK.

Mufflex is running late too.
Also, Summit just changed my spec order arrival date from 4/26 to 5/12.
The only sure thing is to pay for the parts (one of this board's sponsors sells the parts for $350, u-weld-it), or find a muffler shop that will build it custom.
