alright, i got the one bolt out of the steering shaft up by the firewall. now i can put a screwdriver in the hole and push part of it out, but it doesnt completely come off that firewall section. do you guys get what i mean? ALSO, do i just swing it up and around to get it out of the way? this is for the hooker LT install. thanks!!

do you mean the steering knuckle??? There are two bolts on it one on the top and one on the bottom,, you have to undo both of them the bottom one is kind of tricky and you will have to turn the wheels to be able to get to the bolt,, I got to mine from underneath the car, then it slides down off of the top shaft and up off of the bottom,, just make sure you put it on the same way you took it off and use locktite and the bolts when you put em back in and also make sure you tighten them to the proper speck,, It's pretty easy once you do it,,

Take the top bolt completely out. The bottom bolt is near the K member. That also has to be completely out. You will be able to slide it up and out of the way then.

You shouldn't have to take the stearing apart.Get the car real high, take off the heat shield over clutch cable(if M-6).Take off oil filter and it should slide right up there.

with the hookers? i read the post about the hooker install and that gentleman was saying that it had to be removed. i have an auto to boot <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> so it's a little harder
