It was a joke more than anything. The random blue hose is 3/4 inch NHRA approved for my vent to catch can. It doesnt come in black or any other color for that matter.

Looks like your running your line into the tb from valve cover. I chose to not feed my car oil through the intake anymore so I needed a good system for crank case pressue. If you notice the hose comes up into a morosso catch can that is vented. The vacuum line for the intake is to free air not fromthe pcv system.. again I dont want to feed my car oil through the intake. Something you should think about.

Ya my car is all peformance and good looks as well. You'll get there someday I guess.

4x4 .. you obviously have no sense of humor... I dont have underhood coolant stickers either

Dont take offense because I told you to clean up your car or do for that matter I dont really care

I have a sense of humor, that's why I commented back to you.

Lol someday I guess. I guess i'll stick with my slow 471/503 all motor car and skip the car shows for a while.

No oil gets in my intake btw. I have two catch cans. I guess I need a current picture of my engine bay.

When are you going to lower your car?

Uh huh what ever. I dont see a catch can on your line from the valve cover to the intake. Oil gets up there and in as well. That line is a vacuum of sorts; The air rushing past it into the intake sucks it. Just telling you what I've seen. The way the sytem is setup it feeds oil and fumes back into the intake and then it gets on your valves and combustion chamber and sludges it all up wich then robs you of power. I have the heads off 3 different times and tried a bunch of different things so I know what I'm talking about here.

470 and 505 on a 408 isnt ground breaking, those are ls1 numbers now a days

Thats nice looking! My car is lowered from the factory with the pro-rate springs. It doesnt need to go any lower...lol, I scrape just fine as it is

Look I'm not trying to get into a tiff here, I was just commenting on cleaning up the engine bay wich you kind of took offense to.

Its a nice looking car and with the 408 you've got plenty of power under the curve and I'm sure your car is more than impressive on the streets or track. I like shiny engine bays to go with my power thats all.

It wasn't really a max effort build either. I also have an automatic transmission. Numbers don't say much anyways. Everyone uses different correction factors and always do the tricks to get better hp #'s like taking off belts or whatever else they can think of. I put my car on the dyno with zero tricks and 471/503 isn't bad for an auto tranny unlocked. And i'll say again oil doesn't get in my intake, I check all the time.

You're right though, everyone has a different taste. I tend to spend more money on making it fast and leave the appearance alone for the most part.

I prefer spending my money on the performance so I can win races. Don't like losing to mustangs. This mustang has been 11.2 @ 126 with a big shot of nitrous.

Duuuuuude, thats so not condoned!!
Take it to the track man! lol
Your car does sound nice and we do share a hate of losing to Mustangs.

As far as the oil then good. Its my biggest pet peave with these engines and anytime I can lecture about it I do..lol It took me for ever to finaly get it worked out and cee5 was the one who showed me the system I now use. I had just a catch can and it want doing the job. Kept getting oil into the the intake. That hose from the valve cover was the final culprit for me.

They had problems with the supplier I think. They used to be better than the mti lids because they fit better.
