Looks good Bill! Did you just get around to putting an aftermarket lid on your car now, or did you have another kind before and you're replacing it with this one?

There's nothing out there that looks as good as the MTI clear lid. I think they'd also look good if they were transparent like that but tinted different colors, such as a light red or light blue, etc.

Pat, nope. I've gone through two Whisper lids now - they both ended up cracking apart in the neck area so I figured it was time for something different. I'm just a slow learner I guess LOL!

If you weren't running a fernco or some else crazy, Whisper will replace the broken lid. Call'em.

I did the first time...that's where the second one came from <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> . As the old saying goes "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me"...so MTI it was this time round <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> .

I'm glad y'all posted this up. I noticed the other day my whisper is cracking around the neck area. I believe I'll give them a call.

I would think the filter would only get dirty on the underside where you don't see it...?

Clean that engine bay up a little. At least wipe the dust off. You can repaint that bottom air lid and its looks much nicer. Then wipe off the overspill on the PS revoir and use back to black on it. Then get rid of the air system and move those coils packs..lol

I don't have the air system. I care more about performance sorry. The clear lid was my first mod to my car and 2 years later I put down 471rwhp/503rwtq. I will do appearance stuff when my car is done performance wise And I don't want to relocate my coil packs, i'll prob. get frcs.

But funny coming from the guy with the random blue hose lol. I also noticed on your fquick page that your car is 4X4? Had no idea that was an option
