Getting Macs, need advise...
I have ordered the Pace restrictor plate setup and an EGR gasket. Anything else I'll need for the install ? Will the Mac Y pipe mate to the rest of the factory intermediary pipe ? Cutting/welding envolved ?
The price is too good to pass up, and the "no banging" feature is a plus with the Macs. They should look nice too since they're JetHot coated.
What should I expect to gain perormance wise since I'll be switching from stock WS6 manifolds/cats ? The Mac cats supposedly flow 10cfm less than the stockers (290 vs. 300 CFM), but I need to run cats for now... Are the Mac cats really that restrictive ? I can always swap to the ORP and buy some O2 simms later, but then there's the reports of needing inline bullet mufflers due to the rasp. Ah, the headaches. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Thanks for any advise.

Use the MAC cats for now util you can get RT cats. These should weld right in. For cost savings you can always weld in your stock cats.

BUt they are a great header for the price, though I opted for non coated. Expect 25 hp.
