NEED INFO ASAP: How do you REMOVE an ASP pulley?
Yes, it'll be for sale soon. I'll be selling the crank and alt pulley with belts for $190. I've decided against using it after reading all the data out there regarding harmonic balancers and dampeners. My decision is final. My butt-o-meter won't miss 10 horsepower.

<strong>there is absolutely no way to take it off. nothing can do it...it'll blow up your car if you do take it off...don't believe everything you read man <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I know there are some who'll say it won't do anything and maybe it won't. But... I'm looking for longevity and read some articles by some experienced engine builders who think it's a bad idea to eliminate the GM engineered dampener and balancer. I wasn't going by what Joe Schmo said.
We got the ASP off no problem with the right puller but now the trouble is getting the original one back on. It's a real bitch and won't go on far enough to get the bolt started. I tried the heating it up in the oven trick but it didn't work. Project delayed. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

Thanks everyone. I borrowed a threaded rod, nut and washer setup from our friends at Speed Inc. Worked like a charm. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Thanks guys!

I'm not going to trade anything either. I'll keep my car and build a bigger garage for the new ones.
BTW, no more SES light since the factory balancer went on!
