Oh thanks man! If you find an extra freeze plug let me know and I'll PM you my address...I just called speed inc. and they said I'll need 2- block off plates for the AIR and 1- block off plate for EGR...Then I need 1- Freeze plug...Is this right? I'll also need 2- 24" extension, but hold off on the O2 sims right?
Should I get OEM header gaskets? How about stage 8 bolts? I'm also gonna go with a ORY because its a lot cheaper.

Buy the OEM GM steel gaskets. As for the bolts, I just used the ones that came with the headers....no problems or leaks. But yeah you'll need the block off plates unless you get the race style headers, freeze plug, extensions, and O2 sims unless you get the rear O2's tuned out.

Yes, I purchased racestyle LT's. I keep hearing different things about the block off plates. I talked to Speen Inc. and I told them I have a 99 LS1. I bought Pacesetter LT's (racestyle)...They said I would need:
1- block off plate for the EGR
2- block off plates for the AIR
1- Freeze plug for my LS6 intake(EGR)
2- 24" extensions
I plan on tuning it a few months after I do the install...So should I also get O2 sims? I've also read of O2 "Bungs"...what is that?...

Sorry, i didnt realize the time and had to pick up the lil ones. But yea I found the plates and I have 2 block off plates, but no egr block off!!
As far as the freeze plug, the plug is for what, the lid? that you can get at a parts store or harware store, try a search and you'll find it.
The ws6 store I think has the cheapest prices for the o2ext's they are a sponsor.
Yea I would hold off I have, i am just gonna get them deleted when I get a dyno tune!
I reused my header gaskets, but then again I only have 31k mi. but I would of used the oem metal ones, and do not use the ones that come with the headers they are garbage!
I heard the stage 8 are a pain!! you can reuse the stock, but I just went to the dealer and bought new ones!
As far as the ypipe its all up to you sir,tsp has a catted Y since you live in Cali.

Let me know what you want me to do!! I gotta go to speedinc on monday and get my lower control arms!

Bungs are the threads only, that you weld on an exhaust pipe so you can screw the o2 sensor, but you dont need them they are already on the lt's.

I have a 99 too. If you buy the race style you wont need the block off plates, I didn't. Just get the freeze plug, extensions, plugs, wires and O2 sims. If you don't get the O2 sims you're going to get a check engine light unless you get the rear O2's tuned out.
