jet hotted holley intake

jet hotted holley intake since it seems to me that the biggest complaint about the holley intake is heat soak why not get it jet hot coated or at least heat wrap it? i know there are companies that sell custom wraps for 5.0 and 4.6 intakes so why not do it for the ls1? any problems?
Re: jet hotted holley intake its also really heavy, no need for it unless you are gonna do a lot of work on it and port match it. GM actually did a pretty good job with the LS6 intake.
Re: jet hotted holley intake u dont want to wrap it or coat it.. that will only reatain heat as it does for exhaust.. you want to dissipate the heat, so add some heatsinks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> and an electric fan
Re: jet hotted holley intake You could send it to Swain Coatings since they have coatings for intake manifolds to repel the heat. This would be your best bet at what to do on the intake.
I would only use the Holley if you have a big engine that needs the ported intake, the LS6 is really good.
