Default Bassani Off-Road Y-pipe for stock manifolds

Is anyone using one of these, and what kind of gains can be expected? I really don't wan't the hassle of headers, but I am thinking about trying one of these since I can swap the stock y-pipe back on as needed. I know that O2 simms will be required.

I would be interested in this as well. By looking at posted header gains my guess is that headers+cats is pretty close to ORY + cut-out in case of stock internals.

Someone sure has experience on MAC ORY with stock manifolds ??

With a turbo in my semi-near future I don't want to mess with headers (as a turbo will require a custom setup) so I decided to get a ORY for the mean time.

I ordered the Bassani ORY for stock manifolds today, I'll be sure to post if/when I know. It will likely be track tested before it's dyno tested in my case.

I recently had the bassani y pipe on my car. I picked up 6 rwhp with it. I took it off for two reasons. #1 it was way too loud with the loudmouth exhaust. #2 The way the y pipe is made the collector at the end is angled slightly off and it actually started cutting into my driveshaft <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> . So I took it off immediately

ditto what jim said.even with my hooker cat back it was way to loud and when i would hit a bump the weld on the collector would hit the drive shaft.i didn't care to much for the fit and finish.
