1 7/8 Grot owners come inside How many of you are haveing problems with the headers torquing into the k-frame on the drivers side? Mine is hitting and leaving about a dime size rub mark on the headers. What has everyone done to remedy this? We are grinding down a small section of the k-frame. Any other Ideas?

Re: 1 7/8 Grot owners come inside Our answer has been taking a Dremel and grinding out a small section of the k-member. All 3 sets we got went on 99 cars, one set was rubbing badly. He had section of his k-member cut and then welded that area. Let me know what you all find.

Re: 1 7/8 Grot owners come inside I didn't see any problems on mine other than I had to remove the passenger side heat shield to eliminate some vibration. I had the driver side off already from my MACs.
My Y-Pipe had to be rewelded at the seam where the 2 pipes come together. Had condensation dripping out. Did I mention that the Grot Y-Pipe is a big POS and a F**king rip-off <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

Re: 1 7/8 Grot owners come inside If I had seen a picture of what I was getting, I would have done that. I had assumed it was just ugly (e.g. sloppy welds), not that the functionality had been compromised.
