Walbro 255 ?????

Walbro 255 ????? Has anyone installed one of these in-tank pumps yet on a 99+ year?
Got the tank out, pump out, etc. But I was wondering what to do with the small pick up tube used to fill the bucket. The stock pump has an attatchment for this tube, but the Walbro doesn't. I guess I will lose this feature, but do I need to mod the bucket some how so the Walbro will not starve for fuel. I've done searches on every board out there, but apparently no one has done this on a 99+ year, at least with no detailed explanation <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

Re: Walbro 255 ????? i just hacked mine all together. I cut out the bottom of the bucket <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Not pretty but it worked. CLAMP that damn black rubber hose. I thought the barb fittings were gonna hold.....i made it home with only 20 psi of fuel pressure when it came almost all the way off

Re: Walbro 255 ????? I just cut the bootom off, figure that's the only way. Yeah, with that kind of pressue, definately use the clamps <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
