Default Durability of headers

What is your opinion of headers over long periods of time? I am a student and the drive home is 4 hours, if i got headers would they hold up, would they tend to fry the engine bay? Do you think that they are too much to upkeep with w/o a garage?

They'll be fine! There's no upkeep w/ headers. Just bolt 'em on and go. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> If the headers are ceramic coated, then your temps under the hood might actually decrease some due to better heat dissipation.
