Default Hooker LT input needed.

I've been leaning towards the FLP's but I just keep hearing about issues. The last on that the steering linkage still rubs on the Camaro. I haven't heard much in the way of install issues or anything with the Hookers. With the y pipe becoming available, they are looking better and better. Just looking for some input.

I had the FLP's on my '98 T/A, and I have them on my '02 SS as well. I have never had any problems w/ the steering rubbing against the tubes.

Hookers are great but if you like spending money get FLPS. Myself i wouldn't waste the money. I've installed two sets and they both installed perfect.

With the Hookers did you install from the top or bottom? Have to jack the motor any?

I just installed my Hookers about a week and a half ago. The headers install from the bottom of the car. No need to fool with the engine mount. The instructions call for the front of the car to be 36 inches off the ground. not so. About 24 inches will be fine for the install.
