Default Washing engine w/ Metco breather???

I don't think that would be a good idea, since the filter will get water logged and possibly leak water down into the motor. What are people doing to cover the hole when washing the engine? I broke off my stock filler neck <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

Pop off the breather and cover the neck with ceran wrap and use a rubber band to secure it

I had a bitch of a time getting the stock oil filler neck off, but it does twist off.

Using a 'closed' style breather can solve the problem as well. I am running an Earl's breather, looks better too.
