Sounds very nice on your set-up (both with and without that Hotcam). Makes me really, really miss the Hooker cat-back I had on my old '95 Z28...Now that was a sweet sound (and I still had stock manifolds + cat).

BTW, do you have any dynojet #'s (SAE corrected) of your set-up with that new Hotcam? I take it a dyno tune was done...

I'm really impressed with my Hooker CB. just recently switched from a GMMG to a Hooker and I like it alot! really tame at idle but it really does scream at WOT. i literally have no rasp which is nice b/c with the GMMG it was really bad between 22-2500. i can also now hear my engine better and listen to sounds i never heard before b/c the GMMG was soo loud! deffinetly a good change for me.

Those shoes have killed men much bigger than the man in you avatar. I just got done washing the blood off of them.

Hey, I got out of bed to make that clip, lol.

No dyno numbers. Probably not going to stay with the hotcam. I am looking hard at a Vinci cam. I tuned my car with the aid of my Vinci tuner. The hotcam is a bitch to tune, and the tuner made short work of it. Drives like a dream even with 3.42 gears

I know this is a really old thread but this exhaust is the first thing I'm buying when I pick up a ls1. Thinking about doing what this guy did as far as the exhaust tips go-

Since you bumped this dinosaur of a thread you can listen to the link in my sig for how quiet the Hooker is with a F13 cam and how loud it is with a cutout. It's the perfect street setup.

I do wish it was slightly louder....

Also I cut my tailpipes right after they start to bend towards the rear of the car. Looks way better.

+1 on how quiet this thing is at idle, and the roar at WOT.
