Make sure the cables are on snug...

Re: Car starts for a second or two then dies down... check your connection to the MAFS. I had taken my MAF off and lay it on the engine. I tried to start the car and it would only run a few seconds and just die. I guess since it was still connected but no air going through it, it would shut down the motor.

Car starts for a second or two then dies down... Everytime I start the car, it runs for a second or two at the most then it dies down. My battery has 12.3 volts but the gauge doesn't think so. Is it normal that the battery level indicator be just below the RED when the key is turn to the "on" position? Please help!
