After having shorties I took them off because they wouldn't make much power compared to long tubes. 15-20 HP on shorties for me

Are all of the gains that you guys posted over the stock manifolds/cats/Y-pipe setup? I’m wondering how big the gain really is if you already have a good flowing 2.5” ORY. Then in essence all you’re upgrading is just the manifolds. Seems like ORYs are worth about 10hp, so then if you’ve gained 20hp with LTs you can figure that 10 of that gain was just from ditching the cats I guess.

$1000+ seems like a lot for 10hp, if that's the case. If anyone has gained 20hp over an exisiting ORY, then that would be a good gain...

LT Headers definately compliment a moderately modded car. I just can't justify spending $1200 for 20 HP. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> Of course i'm a cheap @$$. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

A chip is definitely not worth the money. You won't need any kind of programming really, until you start breakin into the engine like cam and heads, etc.

Started her up for the first time since I started the install. I had a smile on my face all night. It sounds insane! I already forgot about the $1200. It sounds, feels, and looks awesome. The throttle response and the sound are the most impressive improvements over the stock mannys. I can tell an improvement in acceleration. Heads and cam packages will really complement these headers.
