Default Passenger Side Wire Harness Concern after SLP LT Install..

After installing the SLP LT headers, I am concerned about the passenger side wire harness touching one of the long tubes. SLP provides a heat resistent tube that runs the length of the wire harness, but it still shouldn't touch. Now, I was considering cutting/splicing the wires, extending them so I can rout them around the critical points (where it touches the tube). Has anyone performed something like this, and can provide me with any insight? I would appreciate it!! thanks..

I worried about the same thing when i did the install. I have had my slp LT's for about 2 months now and about 2100 miles on the car since the install. My wiring harness hits in one spot, but does not seem to effected by the heat of the header as long as you use the protective covering slp gives you. I check up on it every now and then but it seems to be holding up so i wouldn't worry about it to much.

I have about 5000 miles and mine touch big time.
I used the orange tubing as well..

I plan on going on vacation in the car again
and I belive that I will double the orange tube
at that location..

There have been some that added length to the
wires and were successfull..

I'm gonna be installing these headers this summer, and I also don't like this idea of wires touching the hot pipes, even though they're insulated.

I will definitely be adding length to these wires and re-routing them out of the way.

anyone know how many wires are in this harness ??

about four wires: O2 sensor, Crank position sensor, wire to starter solenoid, and the oil level sensor. all are thin wires.
