Default Could a bad intake manifold gasket cause this?

I fill my coolant to the top of the radiator and a couple days later it has dropped a several inches. It's not my radiator cap and I have no spots on the ground where I park so I am pretty sure it's not just a leak. What are the other possible causes? Before I replace my gaskets I want to make sure I am not throwing time and money away. Also, does anyone know the gasket part numbers or where and what kind to get?

Thanks,
Matt

The intake gaskets will not be the problem since there is no coolant going through the intake. I would make sure there is no corrosion around the radiator neck. Make sure the overflow tank is filled to the proper level.

Check the oil and see if any coolant has made it to the oilpan. Also, check the tailpipes for watery residue indicating coolant.

just changed the oil yesterday and nothing there. What's it mean if I find something in the tailpipes?

Thanks for your help.

no no... check the rear coolant vent lines... the small little gaskets have a tendancy to leak, dribble down the back of the block and burn off on the bellhousing.. you wont see anything on the floor, and you loose coolant..

check those 1st.. check your front ones as well, and check the hose that is coming off of it near the intake to the radiator

that can also be condesation... check the SMELL of the tail pipes.. if it smells like coolant.. head gasket leak... if it doesnt smell.. its probably condensation, all exhausts have that..
