Depends on where you live. In California, I doubt they'd pass it. If you really wanted/needed it, you could sand off the FAST and paint it black. It would look stock then.

What kind of mods do you have or are you going to have. An LS6/ported throttle body is plenty till you've got a strong heads/cam car.

If it doesn't have a CARB number (which I'm pretty sure it doesn't), it won't pass. You could try to hide it by sanding off the logos and painting it flat black, but the throttle bodies still stick out like a sore thumb...plus, doesn't your 2000 car still use EGR?

The FAST90 has provisions for you to drill and use the EGR, but I've never actually seen anyone do it.

Yeah...me neither. Lingenfelter uses that spot for a MAP sensor relocation for the Vettes.

yea, my car runs on a EGR. Yea the throttle bodie is goign to stick out because im 90mm Nick william. Well i guess sanding it off not goign to do anything if the TB is goign to stick out. Rick (synergy) advice me to get it which i agreed since im getting it done there along with
-Heads and cams
-American Racing headers w/ cated y-pipe
- Tuning
- E-Cutout ( DHM)
- FAST 90 and 90mm TB ( as mention)
- New Fuel injectors 42
and thats about it. I guess i will just have to save the parts just in case you know. Unless someone knows a smog tech in cali . .

Nothing you are doing is gonna be smog legal to the letter of the law, so what's the FAST 90 gonna hurt at that point? The headers alone will get you a big fat failure.
