I have been running a asp pulley for about 4 years now with no problems. The only issue I am going to have with it is that I don't believe it is sfi approved where as the slp pulley is.

Electrical things have ALWAYS been more efficient than mechanical things. Most transformers can easily see 60% eff compare that to a IC engine. We send power acrost the nation all the time with little loss where no mechanical system could ever do that.
As for what was mentioned earlier with superchargers.... you don't want an underdrive pulley with a superchager. That's counter production imho. You are loosing boast. Now a light weight pulley of the same diameter would be cool. 25% reduction, NO!

pullies are a good way to free up horsepower and fuel economy. however, they're not for everyone. if the benefits outweigh the disadvantages i mentioned, pull the trigger. if not, that's cool, too.

ASP here 5 years no problem, bought long before SLP started making them. But still would not buy anything from SLP, overpriced and Bad customer service. Pully helped me get deep into the 12's without headers.
