Got an awesome deal on an LS6 intake!!!

So a good buddy of mine with an 02 SS that I've performed some work on and given lots of tech advice too has gone to a 78mm FAST intake. He's gonna hook me up with his LS6 intake for a buck. How sweet is that?

Anyway, am I going to see much gain from this with my current mods? I've searched and found little answers. Just hoping to have a SOTP gain from this. I'm going to install it myself I think. Done everything else myself, I think I can handle it.

What about tuning, will I need an update you guys think?

You'll get a pretty good SOTP feeling and the exhaust tone will change slighty. Definitely worth doing, especially for only paying $1.

As far a tune goes, I don't think you're leaving that much on the table if you've already been tuned with all your current mods and just adding the intake.

Yeah, if you're tuned then you shouldnt have any issues with the SES light for removing the EGR system.... or maybe you've already done that, lol. But yeah, nice sotp gain, especially for $1
