PLEASE help me get this SOUND!

A couple of my friends with C6s have the Billy boat bullet exhaust system and it is the most amazing sounding exhaust system I have ever heard

Please, please point me in the direction to get my LS1 rx7 sounding like this...THe billy boat exhaust is wayyyy too much money and it wouldent fit my car anyway. I wish I could just purchase their resonators seperatly.

I am at work, and unfortunately they have blocked YouTube from our network, but I know what you are talking about. You want the exotic sound. right?

Well everytime I hear the BB exhaust on a vette if its being driven right it can make the car sound almost like a bike. A sound like that coming from a pushrod is just amazing.

C6's don't have LS1's dude. Maybe a Corsa Muffler?

So you believe that ls1s and ls2s are that different that they cant produce the same sound with a similar exhaust setup....seems kinda odd

That is not kinda odd. They sound the same. It is the firing order that makes them sound the same.

My friend's c5 zo6 sounded just like you are describing with the b&b, almost like a street bike. I would say more the exhaust than anything else.

I wanna know what part of the BB system gives that sound. It looks like they make a generic X pipe, but they also make like a center dual inlet/ dual outlet muffler (which also seems to act like an x pipe). If I could just use a generic xpipe and get the little resonators they use and get a sound even similar to that it would be much better than any other exhaust I have heard.

My buddy has the corsa exhaust and it doesnt even come close to comparing (kinda sounds like crap IMO)
