Default Exhaust quote....

Hey guys, i went to a midas exhaust shop yesterday to find out how much dual exhaust with magnaflows would cost, And they said to run both pipes all the way out the back and with the bends and the mufflers it would be anywhere in between 475 and 600... How does this price sound? thanx guys

Not a bad deal at all, do you have lt's or are you running the td's off the manifolds. Also you may want to get some magnaflow high-flow cats...power loss is minimal and you want have to worry about emisions.

That's a steal if it's over the axle. Under the axle..I'd say probaby average.

I paid $600 for true duals made by Lane. They were the best fitting duals Ive ever seen. But I would have to say your getting a killer deal. But keep in mind you also get what you pay for.

yeah dont forget to ask them if this is crush bent.. or mandrel.. ask what size piping too.. i bet they are thinking 2 1/4" .. which is standard for most exhaust pipes..

so you better get some details on this.. get them to put the estimate in writing too.. most Major Brand name shops wont do something so custom.. plus they will NEVER remove the cats..

are you sure both you and the shop are on the same page as far as what you want? Some shop managers are retards and consider "dual exhaust".. the dual tip muffler..

because a magnaflow catback is $454 alone..

Lol well i thought me and the shop were on the same page, but as good as a deal u all are saying it is, i better go back and talk to them and make sure.. Im in Ok, so not close enough to the chicago area.. What they said they would do, is two pipes from the manifolds all the way out the back, i am guessing under the axle, and to the dual tips with two magnaflow exhaust... I will talk to them again... thanx guys! does anyone else know of a good exhaust shop that would do dual exhaust in the OKC area? thanx!

I'm surprised at that price from a midas, but from other no name shops it sounds about right. I found a good no-name guy and got mine for $300 over the axle including 1 chamber flows. Mandrel bends and all, but 2.5 inch instead of three. There are good deals out there, don't worry if this turns out to be a miscommunication
