Camaros were made in Canada...

And why is EVERY post of yours pimping AR headers and putting EVERYONE else down?

Whats funny is that if the XS are made in China, It much better quality than Ive seen in the US. My Kooks didnt fit worth a ****. They did have emissions to start with.

Like others have said, the Camaro comes from Canada, all the electronics are from Japan (or somewhere close), Im sure theres something from China and your gas is from overseas also. What was your arguement again?

by the way I do have to mention...

quality parts made in the US are not any more expensive to manufacture than quality parts from anywhere else... people just bank on the "MADE IN THE USA" to make a bigger buck for the same amount of work as anyone else...

it's kind of like those flags after 9/11 ... how many commercials, infomercials, junk emails, banners, posts, threads, billboards etc did you see with the "BUY A FLAG BE PATRIOTIC" bullshit on it?? And where are all those little flags now? 98% of them are gone.

just because its made in the US or supports the US market, doesn't exactly mean its the best ... 98% of those "patriotic" schemes were **** made in china anyway

The headers themselves, best bang for the buck in my opinion. I don't care where they're made at this point, the fact is, they're better quality than a lot of other options for half the price.

So you paid more for customer service... hell maybe you're even getting a discount for leghumping posts any time a header discussion comes up, I don't know... but honestly, the fact of the matter is simple...

it's a good quality and has a lot of support... hell I hear more about these headers than I do the ARH most days...

whatever floats your boat

And the GTO and new Camaro are from Australia right? The first Pacesetter headers for the F-bodies had a lot more install problems than the XS headers. The Pacesetters for GTOs don't fit at all, rub on the steering rack and have caused fires. Flowtech headers are some of the worst ever made as well. Those are a division of Hooker. So....

Would you rather wear Wranglers or Levi's? They are both pants...

With something like Kooks, you are paying for the 40 year reputation, top notch production facility, and highly skilled welders. To some people, this means everything. To other's cost, and feeling smarter than the next guy by paying half as much for headers is the goal. I don't know too much about XS headers, so I can't really comment on them. Are they a real company with tech support you can call? Are they insured, so if they put a bad product out, they don't get sued off the face of the earth, and your warranty is gone? My main point is, anyone can throw a cheap header on the market. To actually make thousands of units, and stand behind the products is a competely other thing.

I know whenever my customers had an issue with a Kooks header, Kooks bent over backwards to fix it.

FWIW, every cheap header I have ever seen (esp. Pacesetter), looks like a monkey welded it with slag all over the place and what not. Quality and craftsman ship take time and skill.

That is kinda what it boils down to.

I would highly suggest the Pacesetters...especially if you're on any type of a budget. I've used them on all of my cars and thats what I'll continue to use, it's a waste to spend hundreds more for essentially the same product.

Is it really good for business to bash a product that YOU offer?

I'd save up and go with some Kooks or QTP. I bought Pacesetters last year and they are already rusting.
