was ur ces light flashing on and off? my car was doing the same thing. sometimes the code would single out a couple of cylinders, i would clear it, then the next time it would give me a random multiple misfire. i took my plugs out and they needed to be changed. my wires looked good (still have stock ac's on). that seemed to fix my problem. i went with ac delco iridiums, just recently changed to ngk iridiums.

Verdad Gallardo I mentioned an 02, on my 04 Z71 Silverado, it was running like crap and the SES light came on. Had a buddy scan it and it did say mulitiple misfires. Come to find out, my 02 on that side was not switching to the correct voltage siggesting it was going bad. Changed out the o2 and problem fixed.. So, if the above does not work, see if you can chase it to one side or the other.
