I can't say for sure on the Pacesetters but there is no cutting required on the Hookers. Actually.....the only ones I've heard of cutting was for the Ebay headers.

Hookers would probably fit better. I had to grind some off the K member to fit my pacesetters, other than that everything went on fine.

If you lift the motor slightly, you shouldn't have to cut that block piece.

as far as fit and quality go with hooker the extra cash is well spent.

I've installed both on two different Fbodies. Didn't have any problems with either one.

But... Pacesetter does have a good package deal(Texas Speed )

man seriously, save yourself the cash for other mods and go with deal from texas speed, thats what i did. Even if the hooker headers do fit ALITTLE better, which i doubt, i couldnt justify spending the extra money when they are going to put out hte same amount of power and if u get the coated P/S than they will last just as long!!!

Got Pace Setters here, my buddy ground off the little tab on the driver side header and they went in really easy. Bolted right up with no problems at all.

I have not had any leaks, or anything. Save your money for other mods. Go with Pace-setters and be happy.

The only thing I worry about with Pacesetters, and any other non-SS header, is lifespan. They are coated, so surface rust shoudln't be a problem, but they'll eventually start rusting from the inside out.
